Syzygy" is an experimental short film, jointly conceived, created, and co-directed by two women students currently in the C U Boulder's film studies program. Shot on Super8 film, it is a study of symbology, as in the interpretation of symbols, or symbolism. Adorno, one of the co-directors, cites Maya Deren as an influence, as well as the avant-garde cinema. "Syzygy" is the interplay of 3 beings; two women and a blood-red rose, what it means to deal with death and other unspoken things.
